DRIFTDOG wheelchairs: orthopedic solutions for mobility

Designed for animal welfare and rehabilitation, DRIFTDOG wheelchairs are custom-made from aluminum, ensuring light weight, strength, and durability. Thanks to the modular system with fiberglass-reinforced technopolymer joints, they offer wide adjustability in all directions, adapting perfectly to the patient's needs.
The practical design allows for easy and comfortable application, making it easy to use for both owners and veterinary professionals. In addition, to ensure maximum quality and safety, we use anti-puncture wheels with double bearings, the same ones used in human wheelchairs. The anti-tip structure ensures stability on any type of terrain, supporting the animal in its daily life.

Solutions for every need

DRIFTDOG orthopedic aids are designed to improve the quality of life of animals with motor difficulties, providing a valuable tool for post-operative rehabilitation or support in case of permanent disabilities.

Rear carts with 2 wheels

One solution, two modes of use:
•    Partial support: for animals with reduced mobility in the hind limbs, aiding recovery and rehabilitation without limiting use.
•    Total support: for paraplegic animals, lifting the hind limbs off the ground to prevent abrasions or secondary injuries.

4-wheel carts
Suitable for animals with weakness in the front limbs, quadriplegics, very old or with neurological problems that impair coordination and stability.

Front wheelchairs
Designed for animals with motor difficulties in the front end, tripods with forelimb amputation or with 

congenital forelimb malformations.

Also for special cases
In cases where it is not possible to use a standard wheelchair, a wheelchair with an anatomical harness is used, designed and fabricated on a 3D scans of the animal (e.g., in cases of limb malformations or amputation of two or more limbs). The anatomical harness can be designed and installed on both front and rear wheelchairs.
